DecMeg2014 Data Analysis Competition Starts

News date:
Monday, 21 April, 2014
DecMEG 2014 Competition starts on April 21st and will be finished on July 27th. So far it has 2142 entries and 170 participants. The competition baseline has been improved by 13 percent on the public leaderboard which can be considered as a great achievement. We are looking forward with good anticipation to have more participants in remaining days alongside significant scientific achievement.
The goal of this competition is to predict the category of a visual stimulus presented to a subject from the concurrent brain activity. The brain activity is captured with an MEG device which records 306 timeseries at 1KHz of the magnetic field associated with the brain currents. The categories of the visual stimulus for this competition are two: face and scrambled face.
