Muhaddisa Barat Ali joins NILab

Muhaddisa Barat Ali joins NILab as a 1st year PhD student of the XXXI cycle. She is going to do research on computational methods for brain connectivity analysis.

Muhaddisa Barat Ali  received her Bachelor Degree in Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan. During that, she worked on Artificial Neural Network based Electrocardiography analyzer. She has been a lecturer for four years in Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences. She received a scholarship for her MSc studies from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and completed her MSc from Bilkent University, Turkey in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Her MSc thesis work is on the use of dropouts and sparsity for regularization of autoencoders in deep neural networks.
