Danilo Benozzo attended UAI 2015 Workshop on Advances in Causal Inference in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The workshop took place immediately after the 31st Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence (UAI 2015).
The Summer School was organized by the Computer Science Department of the University of Copenhagen (Denmark). It took place from 29.06 to 3.07. The School focused on theoretical foundations of online learning and featured lectures by world-leading experts in the field.
The Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM) is the primary international organization dedicated to using neuroimaging to discover the organization of the human brain. This year the yearly meeting took place from June 14 to June 18 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Paolo Avesani' poster presented joint work with Thien Bao Nguyen, Nusrat Sharmin, Nivedita Agarwal, Mark Bromberg, Lubdha Shah and Emanuele Olivetti. The poster was entitled "White-Matter Alignment Across Subjects By Tractography Mapping".
6th International Workshop on Pattern Recognition in Neuroimaging will take place in Trento, at FBK Scientific and Technological Hub, from 22nd to 24th June 2016.
The 5th International Workshop on Pattern Recognition in Neuroimaging (PRNI) was held at Stanford University from June 10 to June 12 2015. Paolo Avesani presented a poster entitled "Tractography Mapping for Dissimilarity Space Across Subjects" - joint work with Bao Thien Nguyen; Agarwal, Nvedita; Bromberg, M.; Shah, L.; Olivetti, Emanuele.
Diego Sona's group paper entitled "Sleep-Stage Scoring in Mice: The Influence of Data Pre-Processing on a System's Performance" was accepted for publication in the proceedings of the 37th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC'15).
A paper from Diego Sona's group entitled "Kernel-Based Analysis of Functional Brain Connectivity on Grassmann Manifold" was accepted for presentation at the 18th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI'2015). The paper was then published in the conference proceedings.
The paper presents joint work by Pouya Ghaemmaghami, Mojtaba Khomami Abadi, Seyed Mostafa Kia, Paolo Avesani, and Nicu Sebe. ICIAP 2015 is the 18th edition the 18th edition of the biannual International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing - a series of conferences organized by the Italian Member Society (GIRPR) of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR). The conference covers both classic and most recent trends in computer vision, pattern recognition and image processing, addressing both theoretical and applicative aspects.
Rovereto Workshop on Concepts, Actions and Objects has a scope to provide a unique forum for researchers from a range of perspectives who are interested in Concepts, Actions, and Objects to come together to discuss their research and develop new directions and collaborations. This year it took place from May 7th to May 10. At the workshop, Paolo Avesani presented a poster entitled "A Cluster-based Multivariate Test for MEG Brain Maps".
